A delightful stay with great home-cooked dinners by Marzio. However, the parking was a bit distant.

I loved the huge room surrounded by a beautiful garden. After busy days in the city, the peaceful neighborhood provided a perfect escape from the crowds. The staff, especially Marzio, treated me like family and were always eager to help. Breakfast for 8 euros was a nice touch, offering plenty of options. The location was convenient, with a bus stopping right in front that took me straight into the heart of Florence. However, I encountered issues with the air conditioning. Initially, it didn’t work properly, and even after attempting to fix it, it leaked water. It would have been better if that had been sorted out ahead of time. Overall, the amenities were good, but the air conditioning definitely dampened my experience a bit.

I had a lovely stay at Villa Gelsomino Garden. Marzio provided exceptional hospitality, ensuring I felt at home from the moment I arrived. The homemade dinners were wonderful, and the location allowed easy access to the city center via bus number 11.

The air conditioning didn’t cool properly, making nights uncomfortable!!! Maintenance could be improved, especially regarding the wet spot on the wall from leaking air conditioning!!! Attention to cleaning standards is essential!!!

Spent a couple of days there and it was good as expected! The room was cool and clean, perfect after walking around in the heat. and I gotta say, the homemade food was exceptional, really brought the Italy experience to life! Marzio, the host, made us feel like family, lending us a bottle opener for wine when we asked, and that was a nice touch.

It wasn’t cheap, but the value was still pretty acceptable considering the experience.

the roof-top terrace is great for relaxing with views. there’s limited staff between 12-3.

The Villa Gelsomino Garden offered a very pleasant room with modern facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. The communication prior to check-in was a nice touch, asking for our arrival time. The location was excellent, allowing for a peaceful stay while still being a quick walk to major sights like the Piazzale Michelangelo and Boboli Gardens.

I experienced minor communication issues during check-out regarding the touchless key for the gate.
